Ogun Irin – The Penitent Inferno Lord Spacemarines

Imported from Instagram, sorry I couldn’t pull a description

‘I am iron, I am covered with iron. Inside my heart is ash.’ – Orun Da, of the Inferno Lords

Pictured here, clad in the pale blue of shame, many of the pelts and trinkets of his former self discarded in the newly embraced piety of his chapter-in-penitence.

The loyalist remnants of the Inferno Lords have cast off their former colours, name and culture seeking to distance themselves from their traitor brethren.

The chapter already mauled in the fighting have shunned recruitment, believing they need to cull the remaining turncoats from their ranks.

These few remaining marines take on vows of vengeance; their serfs forging them blades with which to slay their erstwhile brothers and refusing to repair or replace them until a suitable tally of foes have been struck down. This practice, especially considering the now increased ratio of serf-artificers to combatant marines leads to an interesting juxtaposition of well maintained and often overly wrought armour, but damaged weaponry.
