This warband has been in my head for at least three years now, probably longer and I have been collecting bits for the whole time. Finally they’re a real thing and out of my head.
I wanted to channel something different to the classic minis and move away from the red that they so often come in. This yellow, in my head at least, has become synonymous with Chaos forces. I did my Corpse Grinder Cult with it as an accent, and my Renegade Militia for 40K have started appearing with it as I paint them.
With this band I wanted to push close to the artwork, weirder shapes for the Possessed, big flowing robes for the Magister – really channel John Blanche.
