Another of my ‘Elevated Men’, much like Gallowglass, Chemring was a menial worker. In this case in the forge-presses off Cripplegate Bridge. Being a burgeoning wyrd Hekkler had learned to keep himself from the cities society.
It was my commissioning of a piece that bought him into my employ. I supplied ore and requested two items be forged; a mask, that which you see him wear today and what he believed to be a spiked torc – you can see him wearing that too – or rather you can see the protrusions from his chest where Lockheed… installed it.
This ore, and its esoteric origins enhance his innate ability as a Pyromancer. He has progressed from parlour-level tricks, which were of no doubt of use to him at the forge to the manipulation, conjuring and direction of flame from his hands. This comes at a cost to him however, his skin must be pierced to draw blood, so protracted use of his abilities can be somewhat debilitating… I believe however, with further tutelage his powers will grow even stronger and he may transcend his need for bloodletting.
